If she never bothers to visit you?

I have no problem with visiting her....It is my partner saying that she doesn't respect me to come to visit me and I do all the running around for her.
I go to hers for her birthday and I get a phonecall for my birthday.

i have been in a relationship like that for years with my older sister, for about three years we lived about 14 miles away from her, but it was always me go to visit her, It will get old after awhile and I tend to agree with your fiance.
Stop going over there after awhile she will want to see you and will come visit, or just simply tell her that you don't want this problem getting in the way or your relationship and need to know if she can't meet you half way?

well, im kind of going through the same issue with my sister, its hard for us to find a time to meet up with her because since im a hairstylist my hours are crazy and shes a full time mom to two toddlers, but if you have a good relationship with your sibling why shouldnt you visit her, shes family, and regardless of the fact that she doesnt visit you is kind of petty. Be the bigger person, after all you both came out of the same womb and you'll always have a connection

That is a choice you have to make but remember this, you never know when the last time you will see someone, does she mean alot to you? I would visit her but that is just me. My brother is locked away and I dont get to see him, I would do anything to have him around on a regular basis.

Yes you should visit her.the fact that she calls you when it's your birthday shows that she still cares for you and loves you.

My sister died a year ago. I would do anything to be able to visit her one more time.
Don't be petty. She's your sister. Imagine how you feel if she were gone.
