the vet told me that it was ok for her to go outside and play and jump with the other dogs since she does not have stittches , she has clue on the outside, stitches that will disolve inside.
is this wrong info???

if she only just got spayed it's probably still sore and she is just not up to it, wants her peace... she'll recover in no time...

My dog came home from her spay just a few days ago. Your dog should not be playing or overexerting herself anyway for at least several days, so if she doesn’t want to, that’s good. The stitches could come out before they should if she does anything strenuous, so you should not be encouraging her to play!
She’s just tired, sore, and probably a little scared because she had to spend the night away from home. Leave her alone, make sure she doesn’t lick her stitches, and give her her pain medication when the vet said you should. She should be back to her old self in no time, but right now, she’s recovering from surgery. Spays are so common, that a lot of people forget that it IS surgery, and it was very hard on your dog’s body to go through that, and difficult for your dog mentally and emotionally as well. You cant’ expect her to be acting like nothing happened.
Just make her comfortable and be patient. She'll be fine soon enough!

Your dogs personality has NOT changed.Persoanlity does NOT change..it is what it is..period. Your dog is recovering from surgery. It is a perfectly normal response for her to act differently for a few days. She should NOT want to nor should she be allowed outside to play especially with other dogs this soon after her surgery. She should not be running, jumping, climbing and playing with other dogs for 10 -14 days after surgery.
Again spaying does NOT change a dogs personality!!!! Spaying is the best thing you can do for your dog. It will help her live a longer happier, healthier life.

For any one who has had a hysterectomy you are very sore that is major surgery, she is sore and tired from the anesthesia give her a few days, I had my doxie spayed yesterday and she is acting the same but I know she will be fine. Let her rest.. It is healthier for her to be spayed.. I also had my corgi mix spayed when she was 6 months old and within 3 days she was almost back to herself..

She should return to normal in a few days or so.It is quite an experience for them being at the vet over nite, and having a procedure done. She is probably adjusting to the changes in her body, and being back home.
She is probably still having the side effects from the anesthea(sp),that usually takes a few days to get out of their system.
My male was like that after getting neutered. He was back being his old self in no time.
If she continues to be like this after a few days, check with your vet.

If you just came home from the vet today I'm sure she is still sore and just wants to be left alone. Surgery tends to make people/animals tired. I bet she will be back to "normal" in a week.

She will get back to normal, she is just a little shook up.
Play with her , be very gentle and cuddly and her nerves will ease a lot sooner. She went tru a "traumatic" experience, so all she needs is time.
Hope she gets better soon!

If you just got spayed would you be yourself?;) She's recovering from surgery and needs time, just like a human.

Give your girl time. She'll be back to herself in a few days. She needs to stay quiet for a few days so she won't pull her stitches.
