Puppie can can not be sold until they are about 8 weeks. A puppy that cannot walk completely and is still feeding is only a week and a half to two weeks old.

On average, larger breeds will feed on milk for 6-8 weeks. Although, most puppies will continue nursing until they are weaned off. They can start walking about 3 weeks and eyes will be open at 2 weeks. I'm not sure about smaller breeds, I would imagine about the same.

It looks (according the web) like the mother-dogs start to avoid nursing the puppies starting around 3 weeks of age, and stop nursing them completely by 8 weeks.

I would say 3-4 weeks. Eyes open at a little before 2 weeks, so walking comes a little after that.

The pup can be 3 to 4 weeks old. They need their mother milk until 6 weeks old and then you can start to rehome them at 8 weeks old.
It is very, very important they stay with mom until 8 weeks of age.
