That's going to depend on the height of your ceilings, the number of rooms, etc....

More info would help but a single square room with no windows or doors would be approx 63 lineal feet on each side.

With a ceiling height of 8 feet each wall would require 16 sheets, each 4 foot by 8 foot for a total of 64 sheets for the walls.

The ceiling (4,000) SF would require 125 sheets (63 x 63 divided by 32 SF per sheet = 124 sheets.

Total job = 125 sheets plus 64 sheets or approx. 189 sheets of 4' x 8' dry wall sheets.

Drywall for a home is figured on a square foot price. So really you need to know how many square feet of walls and ceilings you need sheet rocked. You can't be given even a ball park price with the over all square footage of a home. You also need to consider what kind of sheet rock you need and how much you need. There is a different type of rock you will want to use on certain areas of your bathroom, if not all areas in your bathroom. On top of that you normally use 1/2" sheet rock inside your home, but if you are going to sheet rock your garage you probabley should use 5/8 rock because it has a longer fire rating and typically is code. Cost can vary from state to state and country to country. I happen to live within 100 miles from a plant that makes it, and in this area it is abundant. If You live down south it cost much more because of a shortage.
step 1. Figure out how many square feet of wall and ceiling you need to rock.
step 2. Figure out what type you need
step 3. check price in your local market

ps figure sqaure footage basexheight and figure in 20% for waste. Also you can buy rock in many different sizes all four foot wide but different lengths, you should measure your ceilings and walls and decided what length of rock you will need. This does two things. Helps cut down on waste, but also makes less seems that you would have to mud and tape. I hope this helped you on your journey

Depends on the number of rooms, interior walls, height of walls, size of rooms, whether roof is drywalled, and number of windows and doors.

a whole lot... You have to measure each individual room one at a time to get the right board lengths so you can minimize your cuts and minimize waste while maximizing the beauty of your new home that you will be having hot monkey love in.
