I can't decide which one would work best for my really thick hair.

I have used both the Chi and Sedu. The Chi is much better. I never used the Paul Mitchell straightener.

I havent used Sedu or Paul, but I have used CHI and its awesome! A year or two ago it used to be America's #1 choice for a straightener. I dont know if it still has that title today... but I love CHI (products, thermal irons). I know they're real expensive though so I dont personally have one. We use CHI at the salon I work at. People can say whatever they want but its what works great for you and the price is good too. Take the suggestions but do what works best for you.

i heard that the Chi does work but breaks easily. You should ask your stylist about which straightener is best for your hair type.

Right, well look out for "ghd" straightening irons, i have really THICK hair, after the use of these beautys, i have silky long straight hair!
