Depends on what you are making! I know you are just not putting some beans in an oven!!

If I may be so bold as to offer an opinion, I would not EVER cook ordinary soybeans ANYwhere unless they are the green soybeans that are on the market these days .... they are called "Edamame" an are sold in the frozen foods section of the supermarket .... or in Asian stores..... they require very little cooking and are delicious with some butter ... or made into a dip like hummus

However, it is up to you ... and of course, cook them for as long as you need so they are soft ...... it depends upon how you started with them......did you soak them first, and then boil them, or mix them into a broth .without cooking them ...... you will see ... It can't be longer than 45 minutes for a whole vegetable casserole / stew to be done ....

Why would you bake them. Put them in water till they boil, then eat. It's much quicker & easier. You can season w/ salt or soy sauce to taste.

I HAVE ONLY BOILED EDAMAME SORRY 2 -3 MINUTES IN SALTED WATER.

you dont bake soybeans you boil them.
