A lot of girls see faults in themselves and hate it when others appear more attractive, confident....
They feel as though they have competition to look as good- which is ridiculous- it's not some peoples' fault for being attractive, is it? Besides it's not as if attractive people are ogres.

To be totally original, I'll say... jealousy!
When we girls play nicely and by the rules, we don't like it when our guys turn the other way because a girl wears a mini skirt two sizes too small.

It's all about jealousy. Plain and simple. Girls who don't feel they are attractive hate girls that guys find attractive because they are jealous... and girls that are attractive attack other girls that are just as attractive because they feel threatened.

yeah i have that problem. girls especially in college always talk smack behind my back with out even knowing who i am , i don't even flirt with guys because i am a shy girl n in love with my boyfriend. i found out that its jealousy and those kind of girls want attention that other girls are getting

Because those girls are usually very fake and phony. They don't have their own personality, they tend to play the "damsel in distress" to attract the guys. This makes girls angry because they want to be liked for who they really are, and when they see guys drool over these fake bimbos, it can get discouraging. =]

because most of the girls that all the guys love are pretty and hang out with them a lot and are just really good friends and every girl just wants to be her they want th guys to like her and to hang on them and come to them for advice and to talk they are just mainly jelouse and just dont want to admit it or one of the guys that is talking to her is the guy that they like and they just hate her because he is talking to her and not him
