i would think so
try it, nothing will happen it will just work or not wont mess up the car or nothing

No, you cannot. The DVD player in your Pathy is not really a "DVD player" per se.... You have to execute a navigation system hack, which I believe is the same for all Nissan products.... Check www.M35forum.com, I think there's a Nissan nav hack article there.
