My doctor told me I should lose a few pounds. My friend suggested breakfast bars, that are 100 calories or less. But I don't know any! Is there any healthy breakfast bars that are 100 calories or less that I can buy IN A GROCERY STORE like Shaws, for example.

Remember:

A HEALTHY breakfast bar that I can buy at Shaws

100 calories or less per bar.

It should taste YUMMY! They yummier, the more likley I'll eat it then a 1,000 calorie breakfast

Quaker makes chewy granola bars that are 90 and 100 calories. They make them in several flavors and they're tasty! Good luck!

Don't be fooled by the breakfast bars. You can't lose weight only by eating a 100 calories breakfast. You need to eat a high fiber, high protein breakfast that most breakfast bars don't have. There are natural cereals that do. Furthermore, to lose weight, burn more calories than you consume daily. eat well balanced meals, avoid too much sugar, soda and too much caffeine. Walk at least two miles a day at one clip. four times a week and you will lose an average of three to five pounds the first week and two to three pounds per week thereafter. While doing all of this drink plenty of water, not only to satisfy your thirst, but to flush out the ash from your body. After a few weeks you may notice a no weight loss. This is normal. Continue dieting in this manner and you will meet your goal. Remember to manage your weight eating the same way.

There is a big difference between 100 calories and 1,000 calories.

A 100 calorie is a snack not a meal. You are likely to be very hungry and overeat later in the day if you deprive yourself.

Those bars are artificial with less than nothing to offer you.
Here are a couple of ideas for a low calorie breakfast that are more natural:
#1-A piece of low carb bread with 1 tsp pb. a glass of milk.
#2-low fat yogurt and 4 oz juice.
#3-an egg scrambled with peppers and onions, half and english muffin and 4 oz of milk or juice.

Good luck

stay remote from the marshmallow and chocolate chip ones. once you've a Wegmans close to you, they have an finished row dedicated to them. they actually have something stated as "fruit residences", that are solid fruit bars with rather low sugar that equate to a serving of fruit. My spouse likes the Luna and Larabars. i like Fiber one, Zone bars, and Clif Mojo bars. What you want to ascertain is the sugar and carb content fabric, and steer clean of those with man made sweeteners. i'm food plan managed diabetic and hate eating breakfast, yet could eat something to regulate my sugar degrees, so I particularly have develop right into a breakfast bar connoisseur. i attempt to get the severe-fiber ones, yet i do not understand if it truly is needed for a touch one.

if you want to lose weight, forget the breakfast bar and grab a yogurt instead.. there are a lot of great flavors now, some that i think are just as good as some ice creams.. breakfast bars wont satisfy your hunger as well as the yogurt that has a lot of protein

good luck

Breakfast is not the meal to cut on, dinner is. Anything you eat after about seven, goes to waist (sorry).
