I know from when I was your age that the girls were taller than the guys until around 15 years old. You will hit your growth spurt.

My brother was like 4'9" when he went into highschool, and by the middle of sophomore year he had a growth spurt. He's like 5'7" now, which isn't that tall, but I guess it's average. Anyway, the point is, you're only 14 and you still have a lot of growing to do, so don't worry about it. 5'3" and 14 isn't that short, and you will probably grow a lot more anyway. I think right around your age is when most boys start having growth spurts. oh, and the girls in your class are abnormally tall, by the way, at least if the majority of them really are that tall. Everyone is different and it's not something you should worry about.

ur small, but most guys are small at that age. Most guys don't get their growth spurt on until 18 or so years of age (some later some earlier) just keep taking care of urself and u will grow. It also helps to look at the gene pool (are the men in ur family tall or average height?)-this will determine what u will look like in the future

Well...I am a 14 year old girl and I am 5'1 and weigh 103lbs and wear a size 6 1/2 shoe.
Let me put it this way...I am short for my age. I have the average shoe size....and I am a healthy weight for my height...but those are girl statistics....so I think that maybe you are a little below average, but don't worry, girls like short guys too....

Don't worry , I remember when I was your age, ther;s this boy who was really short, I was actually a lot taller than him, now he's 6' and Im still the same height then whne I was 14. Boys will keep growing up until 18 I think, while girls will stop at 16 or something, Don't worry kiddo! lol

Damn you have some tall girls in your class. I was 5'6" at your age and I was the tallest in class, what have girls been doing diffrent in the last 10 years..lol.
I think you are fine, you should have a growth spurt soon. Boys continue to grow alot longer than girls do so it will even out

The best thing to do is look at your father to estimate what your final height will be. Not everyone grows at the same rate.
My son put on 2 inches at age 20. So...give yourself some time.

You're smaller than average for a man, but not for a 14 year old. You sound like you're not done growing. I would give it until I was 16-17, at least. Patience, Grasshopper.

dont worry..i was about 5'2 at that age..then once i got to sophmore year of high school i got to about 5'9, and now im about 5'11...i would say u got about 5-7 inces left..ive noticed if u have these bumps in ur knees, it means u still got some to grow. i used to have it and i grew alot of inches and since now i aint growing anymore, the bumps are gone..im not sure if this is true but it seems like it..and btw..u got some giant girls in ur class. 14 yr old girls that are 5'8 and 5'10 is weird..they must look like freaks!!!
