You can substitute 1 cup oil with 3/4 - 1 cup unsweetened applesauce.

yes just use the same amount of applesauce you would as oil and DO NOT use the oil JUST the APPLESAUCE thats how my mom makes her cakes fat free.

use only half a cup and just a dash of ur oi, it will come out super yummy use applesauce in brownies as well good luck

Yes,i have many times.Use the same amount of applesauce as you would have oil.Tastes better and healthier too.

I have never tried apple sauce, but i have replaced it with two cups of whole milk and it comes out with great results. The cake comes out nice and fluffy and you do not get all that fat from the oil.

Same measurements as the oil........No one will know the difference, but your waist will thank you for not adding almost 4 thousand calories to the cake!!!
