Have the Brits gone MAD???????????
You can't dock the tails and ears of purebred?
I think the UK must wake up from their leftist dream, and stop pandering to the Animal activists! These nuts bomb people's homes and farms, for goodness sake!
As far as I am concerned, the animal activists are nothing more than a terrorist group, who live in their utopian mis-conceived - dream world..."All the bunnies run free with their fox friends!!!"
Stupid -stupid -stupid.
They have far more to worry about, Aren't they at WAR?????????????

The new docking law comes in on April 7th. All dogs that are born after this day are not allowed to be docked. All dogs before this date who have been docked can still be shown at dog shows and are legal.
Dogs that are exempt from this are the working, gundog and terrier groups, and traditional working groups dogs must have a working permit to have their tail docked as their tail is seen to get in the way of their work and is better for the dog. ONLY if the dog has a working permit may the dog be docked.

When the Animal Welfare Act comes into force in England on April 6 2007 docking will be banned. However there will be exemptions for Spaniels, Terriers and Hunt, Point and Retrieve breeds that will be used to work. wwwthekennelclub.org.uk

No breeds are fully exempt. You can only have puppies docked who's new owners are going to work them and then only certain breeds-mostly the gundog breeds. And the breeder has to prove that he/she made the owners prove they were going to work them.

I think you have to have proof that the puppy is going to be working dog,you know rabbits, hunting etc, although how you will know which one is going to be the most worthy out of a litter of say ten at two days old beggars belief,
