You did good on the 7 up, it settles the stomach. I always fix a can of campbells chicken noodle soup, and put in an extra half can of water. I don't add any seasoning and you can put a few crackers in it and let them get soft, it will make you feel like you are eating more. I eat the soup slowly. It always makes me feel better, it is not a big load for your stomach and gets rid of the dizziness.

When ever I'm really sick, but need to eat, I eat hot beef or chicken broth, or some other thin, broth-based soup. Plain steamed vegetables are good too (lots of vitamins for healing, but nothing really offensive to your stomach).
Avoid fatty things. The grease will probably not stay down.

My kids pediatrician says: clear liquids (soup, watery juice, pedialite, etc) until you are not throwing up anymore. If you do throw it up, then take only a teaspoon/10 minutes; after 3 times then increase your "dose" to a tablespoon. Then to 1/4 cup. Don't let yourself become too dehydrated because this will make you worse/ prevent you from getting better. diarrhea and sweating/fever and vomiting all make you dehydrated.

my little girls is sick as well, she is only getting a few crackers, and some broth, from like chicken noodle soup, chicken and rice soup. Any thing that is basically clear is fine, if you can keep this down and then feel like it later.....eat a little more...but just take it slow

It won't hurt you to not eat for a day or two. Just be sure to drink plenty of fluids so you won't get dehydrated. Once you start feeling a little better, eat some toast or some plain pasta or rice.

The best thing is to definitely drink electrolytes (like Gatorade) if your cramping. Dry toast/Crackers are good too, as is broth-based soup, anything that's pretty bland and not too spicy, etc is ok as its not hard to digest. Warm coke is good too

Dont eat anything at all, specially not soup!
Have lots of 7-up but with lemon/lime, its bactericidal.
After ur tummy settles some/u pass stool, u will feel better, it /the bug has to leave ur system.Until it does u will feel bad.
If 7-up doesnt work, start a dose of flagyl syrup every 4-5 hours or so/ see a doc soon.
