I feel like I can see better. If you are worried about people making fun of you, don't worry about it, it never happened to me.

I've worn glasses since I was in the first grade many years ago. It's a little strange at first, but you will get used to them right away. It's amzing how much glasses can improve your reading and studies now that you won't have to strain your eyes!
You might have some other kids calling you 'four eyes' for a few days, just ignore them. They're just idiots or trouble makers.
You will also have your real friends admire what you've done. Stick with them!

Many of the greatest success stories in the world wore glasses in school!
It boils down to self-esteem!
How would you feel if you were totally blind?
Be proud someone (even yourself) loves you enough to care to watch over your future!
If someone makes fun of someone at school for any reason there is always an underlining reason within the person doing the teasing. They themselves have a low self-esteem or are in a abusive (verbal or psychical) situation.
They need to be pitied more then feared!

I never minded having glasses. I just hated cleaning them all the time.

I wouldnt know i dont need them. but im sure its still same as always most ppl get little respect.but i got a disease so when i 3went to school i was teased to the point where i would cry.

umm i dont really care about my glasses but im getting contacts during spring break cuz theyre kinda annnoying.

It was awesome to see the board again.
Don't worry about other kids, especially if they tease you.
Only losers bully others because they lack self-esteem.

it's normal, i wear them in class but not in halls. not cause of me being ashamed, it's cause i really don't need them untill i have to see the board. why do you ask?
