Revelation 19:16 - And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name
written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

A tattoo is defined as a marking or coloring of the skin. The bible
says that Jesus had these words written on his vesture (the hem of his
robe) AND on his thigh (on his actual leg.)

Therefore, any logical person can read that and come to the conclusion
that Jesus does indeed have a tattoo on his thigh that says "KING OF
KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

Thats a really interesting piece of scripture to think over. especially considering everyone always banters about lev 28 when referring to tattoos. You have done your homework well!! The bible bashers probably missed that one while they were editing thousands of years ago. Bet theyre kicking themselves now.

Jesus Had A Tattoo

Out of curiosity, I wonder how many well-meaning Christian brothers and sisters condemn tattoos and yet eat foods forbidden in the same Levitical laws. I find Isaiah 49:16 more compelling for the LORD having a tattoo. As for those who are opposed to tattoos and site Leviticus 19:28 please consider the context of that verse what was truly being addressed. Was it cut and dry? No pun intended! Or was idolatry the issue being addressed in that time and in that culture? Just some thoughts. God bless.

The Name Jesus is all over the New Testament Bible while the name Jehovah does not exist in the NT. Stop looking at your Watchtower magazines and read the REAL Bible, not the false bible with that Jehovah name inserted all over the NT! Jesus is Lord!!!

Just as a warrior wore his sword at his thigh, Jesus is symbolically wearing his title like a sword. The title is written on his garment at the thigh area, not on his skin.

That doesn't mean he had a tattoo. If you read a verse in Genesis, tattoos are against the bible.

Read the whole thing before you make assumptions.

I'd hate to get a tat back then, they probably poored dirty ink on his leg and stabbed the design in with a pointy rock lol. blair, look what you've done with your other quest., now the R/S section is going to mesh with the tattoos section!

LMAO @ DebP....

Ok actually you're half right....Jesus had a tattoo but he had it done in Hindi (because it looked so cool) but his tattoo artist wasn't quite as fluent in Hindi as he made out to be (imagine that) so he got a couple of the letters wrong. The tattoo actually read Wing of Wings and Nord of Nords.... Just an interesting bit of trivia I thought I would drop on you.

thats my story and I'm stickin' to it
