Why are you asking this silly question? Have you no common sense? Of course it's not legal to shoot your shotgun (I'm assuming you meant shotgun and not shootgun) at their house or anywhere where you might injure someone or something. It's people like you that cause all the ruckus with gun ownership. Try being a little bit responsible. Take a course. You are lucky they don't have you arrested.

Do you really need that answered? Can you actually be so thick headed as to believe you have the right to shoot toward someone else's property? Boy are you out of it.

Actually it is illegal to discharge a firearm in a populated area unless you have a licensed firing range, and confine your shooting thereto.

I hope they send you to the gas chamber, so the intelligent people can feel a bit safer.

In some cities, it is illegal to fire even a BB gun with in city limits. They give you a ticket for discharging a firearm with in city limits. In Fort Worth that fine is $500.00. A streetlight also costs $32.00. Then you could also be charged with destruction of private property along with criminal mischief. Shooting a real gun at another property would probibaly be more severe charge.

i am assuming you are referring to a "shot gun".

You might want to stop doing this one immediately! It is completely illegal! Should you happen to shoot someone, you are not going to be very happy with the LEGAL repercussions! even if you dont shoot anyone in particular, you are still looking at some jail time should you be charged for shooting at the neighbors!

Uhhh...(clears throat) -- it can be illegal if you are endangering someone.

I realize that you live outside any city limits and it is ok to discharge your weapon, but -- DON'T SHOOT TOWARD THEIR HOUSE!!. They have every right to call the Sheriff if you are doing this. The Sheriff will respond to a call like this very quickly. It is EXTREMELY unsafe. It's called manslaughter when you accidentally kill someone...

Most places have a restriction on how close to a house or road in which you can fire a gun. I'm sure your area has one, check with the police.

Yes, that is correct. If the police are called you can be charged with a myriad of crimes ranging from assault with a deadly weapon to attempted murder, not too mention the various other firearm infractions- that's pretty serious jail time.

Yes, I believe it is illegal to discharge a firearm with the potential of injuring someone (for example, anyone in the house). It is also illegal to damage the exterior of someone's home, same thing as graffitti tagging...
