I am 17 and there is a 23yr old that I met and i am starting to like him. I think he might like me too. Should I just keep the friendship that we have or take it further?

go for it.....My girlfriend is 16 and im 20....At first I was hesitant like you about the age but she is more mature thna the older girls that I tried dating and it has been the best decision I ever made....we are just about perfect for each other....You will never know unless you give it a try though. Oh, please! That's barely an age difference, at least in my book. Just check that the legal age of consent is 16 rather than 18 in your state - if so, there wouldn't be anything wrong with it (he wouldn't get in trouble). Not to mention that, in my experience, 23-year-old guys have the mental age of a 17-year old girl, so no problem there either!! :)
Just make sure he's comfortable with it first (maybeyou could come up with a hypothetical situation about a friend if you're not bold enough to ask directly).

maybe you should wait till your 18 but no i don't think that is too old. i'm dating a guy 5 years older than me. I think 6 is the max so its ok

5-6 years isn't really an 'older' guy. in 5 years, you two will be wearing the same styles and vacationing in the same Spring Break areas...If you're as young as you say and asking questions that naive, you definitely need to wait!

wait until you're 18 so the cops can leave you alone, then take it as far as you want... but remeber, he may have the pants in the relaionship, but you have the zipper! (hope you understand that)
