I have a friend that was a career soldier and fought in Vietnam with the 101st and then 75th Ranger Regt. He also served on the DMZ in Korea, deployed to Beirut and was medicalled out of the Army during the Grenada Invasion where he saw one of his best friends and god father to his oldest daughter die as the result of a sniper. Whilst taking the airfield.

What unit was your dad in? I was there with 503rd MP BN, and my brother was there aboard the USS Samuel Elliot Morrison.

(Neither of us knew the other was there until afterwords.)
