Yes you can use applesauce ,plus if a cake mix calls for water
you can use milk instead .It will be moist .
Also I put ;like Pam on the bottom of the pans and then I also use wax paper over the Pam ,fill you pan with cake mix and bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes . It comes out great .
Another little hint : (if you have Pampered Chef cake pans just spray 3 times and after that you dont have to bother spraying , and then put your cake mix in the cake dish and it comes out beautiful . (and no I'm not a Pampered Chef
Consultant ). I have the cake pan dishes and love them . There around $32.00 plus tax , but hey ,what the heck there worth it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Butter or margarine. You can also use applesauce as usually the oil is there to make the cake moist and applesauce will do this without adding fat. You do need to make sure you oil (or butter) and flour your cake pans to make sure the cake doesn't stick.

I think you could melt butter and use it and it would taste fine! Once the opposite happened to me, I needed butter but only had oil, so I used to oil and it tasted the same just more moist! So yeah, try butter!

Use one cup unsweetened applesauce to interchange one cup oil. you are able to be more suitable careful to stay away from sticking alongside with utilizing a Pam spray or lining the pan with parchment. I particularly have in no way accomplished this eliminating oil thoroughly in reality by technique of one/2 besides the undeniable fact that it may artwork. you are able to also upload in different shredded vegetables alongside with carrot or zucchini or banana alongside with the applesauce.

Try two cups of whole milk. This method works great for me and the cake comes out nice and fluffy. However, you might want to adjust the milk to the batter, but usually two cups will do.
