She has surgery 9 months ago for an emergency hysterectomy and they removed a kidney stone the size of a golf ball - she's clean - no doubt about that. But shes acting like it's hard for her to walk. She will go downstairs, but not back up them. Her tail is tucked hard between her legs. She just lays around all day. She will eat and drink though. I have been giving her antibiotics (left over from her surgery) for 4 days now with no improvement. I can't afford another $1000 surgery. Any suggestions?

well the first thing you should do is go to the vet... they are the proffesionals not us... then if she does turn out to need more surgery go to the mall or someplace popular and put up a sign. one of my friends did that for a cat that had some bladder problem and she earned close to a thousand dollars!!!

You dog needs to get to the vet immediately. Also, do not administer any medication (the "leftover" antibiotics) without checking with your vet first. You could definitely be doing more harm than good.

I would definitely call your vet. If you wait too long you will have another huge bill, it is best to get them checked out right away if you suspect something is wrong with them.

Take her to the vet straight away. The symptoms show she is in pain.

It is obvious that there is something wrong, you may not have the money, but do you want to see your dog in pain?
