If you can't afford a subscribed Anti Virus protection, then why in this world you want to use a computer?
Facts:
#1 All free Anti virus off the Internet are unable to detect and protect your computer. Yes, they may be helpful, but they're very weak. THAT'S WHY THEY'RE FREE!!!
#2 All free software off the Internet comes with spywares that eventually ruin your computer.
#3 Spybot software, which kills and destroys spywares, also kills and destroyes your computer OS, because it cuts so deep into your system to detect spywares.
As a computer technician, I can hack ALL FREE Anti virus protections, but I can't seem to break through the subscribed ones. So are you safe when you download a GREAT FREE Anti virus protection? YOu may need to think about it
Why not purchase the solution to ensure you have the best and most updated protection against all threat and not only certain threats? It only cost $49 dollars a year.

sure it is, just remember you get what you pay for. several antivirus sites allow u to download a free version that has been set up only to allow a few features. AVG from grisoft.com is a good one, Panda, another. but you have to be careful, some will only work for x number of days and then you are expected to pay for them. find one you like and then get the subscription, after all they have kids that need to eat also.
