Options for scar treatment include laser therapy, dermabrasion, shaving the scar down to the level of the skin, an operation to lift a depressed scar, or treatment using injectable fillers. Your specialist can also cut and re-stitch a scar in order to make it less noticeable, or to lengthen contracted skin and increase the range of movement in the area. The choice of scar removal method depends on the size and location of the scar, whether it is raised or depressed, and whether the aim is to reduce the appearance of the scar or to minimise a physical problem that the scar is causing (such as restricted movement). A qualified dermatologist can help you decide which scar removal treatment is right for you. Although complete scar removal is not possible, most scars can be significantly improved in appearance through one or more cosmetic techniques, including microdermabrasion, chemical peels, collagen injections, and fat transfer procedures. Your dermatologist may also recommend a cream, gel, or bandage that contains silicon to help reduce scar visibility and pain.
Hope this helps

There is no way for sure to remove it completely however they do make scar medicine

mederma (i don't think I spelled it right) It takes time especially on older scars. It needs to be put on three times a day and you massage your scar about six weeks later you start to see results. Problem is, expensive for like a 2oz tube it was $14.00 (us)

The newer the scar the easier. So if you get new scars as soon as they heal use it. I did on my 6 year old she had stitches in her chin (nasty scar) put that on right away. completely gone.

On my old scar about 25 years old didn't do too much for it, I stopped spending the $$$ not enough results for the price.

Good luck.

Oh for a quick fix use makeup. Dermablend sold at Dillards like $20 for a tube last a long time.

You can't remove scars without having plastic surgery, Boots the Chemist sells cover up make up especially for scars but I forget what it's called, just ask they'll be able to help.

Failing that try a nice fancy pashmina to go with your outfit or long lace gloves.

You have a number of options. If the dress is part of a made to measure dress, you could have longer sleeves or a lace effect with extra cover on the arms.
If your holding flowers, how will this be seen on a photograph, it is part of you and everyone will love you as you are, not just look at your arms.
If your conscious about it, there are a number of skin care foundation products to give a blanket foundation to your forearms, but this needs to be guided by a beautician and applied with waterproof, cloths resistant products.
enjoy the wedding and feel good that you have be chosen as a bridesmaid rather than others.

What about a corsage? That would cover it up. And well there's nothing short of surgery that would help clear it up in time for the wedding if it's "soon." Try some Cocoa Butter Lotion in the meantime, if it helps with stretch marks then it should help with scars.

They have a product out now by Curad that is a scar therapy. If that does not work, since your scar is older, you could go to a plastic surgeon and have him evaluate it for scar revision.

Difficult one, it might be possible to use camouflage make up. The problem with plastic surgery for scars is that the end result is never guaranteed but it would be your only other option.
