I hope someone can help! 13 years ago I stayed at a hotel in Orlando, Florida where I had a fabulous cocktail called Mayan Gold. I remember that it had pineapple, crushed ice, coffee liquer and some other stuff. It was lovely!

I've been searching for a recipe for ages! Can anyone help me recreate this drink?

Thanks in advance :)

Definately not Mayan Whore! One thing I am sure of is the name!

I did check out the ingredients and the drink I remember didnt have tequila or grenadine in it and as both of those are major ingredients in the Mayan Whore recipe, it told me it wasnt the one ;)

I do appreciate your help though :)

I found this online but I KNOW the name is not the same (or that it is the correct drink for that matter)

Bahama Mama (never heard of one made with coffee liquor)
Ingredients:

* 1/4 oz Coffee liqueur
* 1/2 oz Dark rum
* 1/2 oz Coconut liqueur
* 1/4 oz 151 proof rum
* Juice of 1/2 Lemon
* 4 oz Pineapple juice

Mixing instructions:

Combine all ingredients and pour over cracked ice in a collins glass. Decorate with a strawberry or cherry and serve.

*****EDIT*****
Okay, I know you said it's definitely not Mayan Whore, but did you even look at the ingredients? Cause this cocktail has the pineapple & coffee liquer you mentioned ??? Maybe it's called something else now ... If it's still not this drink, I don't know what to tell you ... fit's the bill ...
****END EDIT****

Mayan Whore (Gold - if you prefer that name better)

Ingredients
3/4 oz Tequila
1/2 oz Coffee Liqueur
1 1/2 oz (chilled) Pineapple Juice
1/2 oz Soda Water
1 tsp Grenadine

Directions
Pour the tequila into a cocktail glass. Add the pineapple juice, top with soda and float the grenadine on top. Serve unstirred, with a straw.

I have found an awesome site to get free samples. I get all sorts of new products that haven’t even hit the market yet. It is kind of like a beta testing site for new products. They test everything from food to beauty samples to video games. Here is the site.
