Rather that just ask I will also add some of my favorites. But I would like to know your favorites as well.

Kodokan Judo. Pictures old but extensive book on all aspects of Judo.

The Secrets of Judo really into the physics of Judo. Great.

Championship Sambo. This is a great primer on submission wrestling. Excellent.

Wrestling for beginners. Found it adds to understanding.

The Tao of Jeet Kune Kune Do. Fun book with a ton of insights.

Learn to Box like the Pros. Joe Frazier. Very good book on fundamentals of boxing.

So what would you all recommend?

actually for hand to hand (I could mention TONS of old fechtbooks that only deuce would give a rat's *** about, or know what I'm saying for sword and european weapons).

I would reccomend reading Jack Demsey's book. "championship fighting" Explosive punching and aggressive defence.

It is dated, but a very good read.
