A persons true face comes out when theyre mad or angry.

This is when all the masks they wear , get dropped. And they show you how much they actually respect you.

Almost all the time, people will treat you with respect, when theyre not mad at you. Because its easy to act like you respect someone when youre happy.

So a person who loses MY respect, is when I test them with something and piss them off, without really saying anything vulgar, they lash back at me in vulgarity and countless insults.

Therefore, I lose respect in people who are not honest enough to tell me their real feelings, or use vulgarity, deception, insults to communicate with me.

Acting in a way that is dishonorable. Example, failing to keep their word and braking an oath. Slandering someone personally or their religion. Cruelty, those who fail to show mercy and compassion for others. I do not have any respect for those who are cold-hearted, cruel, and will kick you when you are down...nothing makes me loose respect for someone more than that.

If someone tells me that they are going to pray for me to loose my faith and accept their God, I consider that a grave insult. Someone insisting that if times got hard I'd abandon my beliefs and call out to their God for help is also an insult and I have no respect for such intolerant bigots.

They lose my respect when they are hateful, ignorant, bigoted, disrespectful and rude towards others who have different beliefs or a different culture. We are not here to judge anyone and people tend to forget that. That is God's job.

pretending to be so understanding but, stabbing you in the back the first chance they get. Maybe not even in the back but, ramming the blade in the front even all the time while smiling. People who are oh so tolerant of everything but intolerance for sin are especially disgusting..

An ignorant person with no desire to learn does not have my respect. Bigots infuriate me.

On a personal level, I have never forgiven a few who abandoned us during our years of hell.

by showing deliberate cruelty to anyone or anything that's at a disadvantage - by ridiculing anyone or anything they don't understand - by conforming to majority consensus at the expense of doing what's right or thinking for themselves - making fun of or spreading bad rumors about someone who's not around and then pretending friendliness to that same person when they are around - any kind of inhumanity

if they act selfishly, betray a friend, lie, purposely try to hurt someone, think they're better than everyone (thinks everyone is jealous of them), bashes other religions just because they don't agree with them... so on. it's harder to earn my respect than to lose it but once they do earn it, they become one of the most important things to me.
