Can anyone give me either a good link or info?

Tony Robbins claims we must ingest high levels of alkaline foods, while some doctors will say it is not of great importance, because the stomach remains highly acid while the intestines remain alkaline.
Changing the PH level in your bladder is of no use, they claim.

Your stomach really only produces appreciable acid when you eat (or right before, in the cephalic phase)
Your stomach mucosa is protected by a layer of mucous that is based one the COX/prostaglandin enzyme system, which is why NSAID abuse can cause ulcers.
You pancreas secretes HCO3 in response to a meal/lowering pH in your duodenum which neutralizes the acid that has been delivered to that part of the small intestines.

Changing the pH of your urine/bladder is actually quite important because people are prone to getting stones when the urine pH changes.

In short, I don't know who Tony Robbins is, but I would suggest you eat a variety of foods, both acidic and basic, and disregard what this person says.

You are not suppose change body ph becuase body ph need to mantained strictly with in narrow range of 7.35 to 7.45
Now Stomach is only organ which secreats acid rest all body fluids are alkaline
Now alkalinazation urine may help a bit to reduce stone this is onlly adivised to those who have renal stone
I adivese you not play arround with your body ph it may cause somthing milk alkali syndrome.
all our body fluids are tightly manged with buffers & kidneys & respiratory sysytem
definatly if you google or Yahoo search you should get plenty of evidence speaking on acid base balance in humans
