I think all the speculation proves that we don't know much about the nature of God. There is no way to know the Unknowable until the game is over.
Peace!

Even the word and concept infinite, is a finite way of describing God. Imagine trying to describe the concept of 3 dimensions in a 2 dimensional world. Because of God's infinititude (is that a word?lol) he has limitless power in a finite world. But by definition he is not bound by time, space, or matter, which are the 3 descpitors of the material world. Personally i choose the bible: written over a period of 1500 years, on 3 continents, in 3 languages, by over 40 authors who had no or little contact with one another. Then you have to take into consideration all the differnent nations who have pledged to have the bible wiped from the face of this planet. Yet its still here.

I agree with Eartha Q! We know about God through His Word, and through the knowledge of Him that He has placed in all of our hearts. However, there are some qualities of Him that our human minds can never even hope to grasp, such as how He never had a beginning and will never end, or how He is Three Persons in One. He is infinite in that we can never know everything about Him, but He has shown us His character just the same.

Nobody knows anything about god, its all an assumption, rumors and make believe, they has no fact or proof about the things they say about god, as far as i know, god was made up by men and women for people who are weak minded and does not has the capacity to understand science. God is a crutch for people who are fools....

We don't really know that much about him...it's called faith. You read the bible, and pray and you really don't know for certain whether you should or shouldn't be on your knees...all you know is that after you get up, for some reason the stress you had is lifted and so are your spirits... and that is evidence enough for me. Faith. We know nothing of God, because he is too great for us to even begin to imagine... Faith. Thats it.

Romans 1:19
For that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness, because God [Himself] has shown it to them.
God has revealed himself to us.

I want to encourage you to read your Bible and get into a good Christian church and get into a Bible study. It'll come clearer to you.
