Hear the Bible:
Le 19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the , nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
Plain enough for me
Also, if in doubt play safe.

I believe it is a sin because we are not to make carvings, holes or decorate our bodies they are the Holy temple of God. Would Jesus get a tattoo? No I dont think so. In the olden days lost people would get tattoos and pierce everything and it displeased God so much

It's not a sin, assuming of course you aren't getting a tattoo that is sinful in nature. Many Christians have tattoos.

The bible says that the body is God's holy temple. No one should deface the temple of God. It also says that women should adorn themselves with shame facedness. They should not adorn themselves with "Costly Array" or other things that set them apart from the crowd. But then again the bible has been changed by liberals to suit their needs, so you can blame them if anything goes wrong.

Not specifically. The Bible says to respect your body as the holy temple of God. Now... would you put grafitti on the literal temple of God? So why would you put it on your body, which is the temple of God where the Holy Spirit may dwell?

Hi!
I have two Tattoos and to be honest I wish I didn't have them anymore...In Islam everyone washes before praying and no women wears nail polish because it's considered dirty...As you can't clean UNDER the nail polish....After learning of this...I thought of it, and thought that I can't clean UNDER this Ink that is in my skin...So, I FEEL I have defiled my body and am dirty in a way, as I wasn't born with this ink on me....
God Loves Cleanliness, and to be honest I have often asked for forgivness for my tattoos.....
But That is just ME....

Of course it isn't. I don't see anything wrong with maybe one or two neat, clean tattoos..BUT, always remember that your body's a temple..for God, So don't do anything to defile that temple of God. Pray about it, an answer will come! :]
God Bless You!..

In response to the "baptist preacher" who quoted the bible for you: What happened to Jesus "fulfilling" the Old Testament, and the rules in Leviticus not applying anymore.
Look at the sentence before the one he quoted:
27 " 'Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.
I bet you all my money that "Baptist preacher" has got a haircut or shaved, despite it being clear what God said.
See what hypocrisy lies in the Christian religion, I mean it's not like i had to search far and wide for this, it was the previous sentence!

Well....it is somewhat of a pagan practice. To be on the safe side...I would say don't do it.
But all sin is forgiveable.
