we messaged back and forth for a couple days. Then I gave him my screen name where we continued to talk for a week every night online. Then my brother finally had a house warming party, we were both drinking and heavily flirty but that's all. We both passed out. I took his number from my brother's phone. Texted him the next day and cont. to text for a couple of days. I pretty much invited myself over a couple times. He had mentioned that he doesn't think that my brother will want his roomate dating his sister..does that mean he wants to date me?? I want to date him. I asked my brother, he said "I don't care," when I asked him if he minded that we hang out. We have hung out like 3 times, and I made the initial move to hang out all three times. I want him to ask me out or to hang out so I know that he does like me. But I'm nervous that he is used to me making the first move. Should I ask him out?? How? I have no clue what to say. He flirts with me when we talk, but he won't make a move.

I know that he is single. And my brother hits on all my friends that I bring over. Currently I am helping him get with this one friend of mine, so he shouldn't be hypocritical.

Back off for a bit, guys like a challenge. You will find out if he really likes you (enough to actually want to date you) if you lay low for a while and he pursues you. I don't think your brother should have a problem with you dating his roommate especially if he tries to get together with your friends.

I think that he likes hanging out with you, no doubt. But maybe he is just concerned about his relationship with your brother. After all , having a roomie can be difficult at times and when somthing goes wrong and family is involved, it can make for a bad situation.
Not only that, your brother and his roomie are single young guys. They probably like their party time and don't really want to get attached to just any one person. So maybe that is why this guy is hesitating.
If you do end up dating him, it might be wise to do it "out of your brothers home" and it would be very wise to leave your brother out of it. That way if things dont' work out there is no anymosity between the both of them.

If you are younger than him, he maybe feeling a little weird about a relationship, so he may never make the first move, cause he doesn't want anyone to be calling him a perv.
even though he know the relationship is good.

i think your brothers room mate is a little uncomfortable with the idea of dating his roommates sister. However I'm quire sure that he does like you and that in a matter of time everything will work out the way you want it too.

You'll have to ask him out. He's still nervous about the brother situation and won't move. He'll say "yes" btw.
