A red wine will stay decent 2-3 days after opening. It does not need to be refrigerated.

A white wine will last about a week in the fridge.

Of course, all should be recorked.

After these time frames, the wine will start to degrade. It will not spoil like milk does, but the taste will start to break down and become less pleasant.

Hope this helps.

not long...maybe a day or two. You can buy a gizmo that sucks the air out of the bottle for about 5 or ten dollars that will lengthen it to 3 or 4 days.

In the restaurant bus. I have used opened bottles up to 7 to 10 days. Simply taste it, if it tastes real vinegary its not good.

It should be good for as long as it last if it is sealed and kept at a cool temperature.
