(Kwee - dah - tay) My question is, is the accent on the Kwee or on the Dah?

On the "kwee" - and I would modify the pronounciation to
"KWEE -dah-teh"

For example.
Cometelo ( the accent on Co)
Duermete ( the accent on Er)

Ah ah ah ... not so fast ... there are regional variations.

If you come from a country where "tu" is used, it's KWEE da te.

If you come from a country where "vos" is used in place of "tu" (like Guatemala, Salvador and Argentina), every conjugation will be different. kwee-DA-te.

You have to say KUEE-dah-teh anr write it "cuídate" whith an accent on the "í" in most of the hispanic countries

but if you ar in Argentina you have tu say kuee-DAH-teh alnd write it cuidate

It's more like Coo-ee-dah-tay, with emphasis on the "ee."
