It doesn't show an error, it just plays the audio but for the video it shows nothing. I think I have to download a codec, but which would I need?

Ya it's probably a missing codec.
I suggest going to divx.com - you won't be able to play divx movies w/out it.

You do not have the correct codec (video decoder) installed on your PC. Go to http://divx.com and you can download the lastest AVI codec for free there. (You do not need to download the divx player or web player for the codec to download and work. You can uncheck them as options when downloading if you want to save hard drive space).

You are right that you do not have to correct codec to play the file properly. However, I would suggest using VLC player (www.videolan.org) instead of Media Player as it has the codecs built-in and will play virtually any file.

Looks you upgrade the media player to ten or install the divx player it you see the all pictures and sound with a good quality.
