I'm not proud that most of the people in my "religion" have turned so many people from Christ by making up rules that aren't even in the Bible.
But I am Proud to call myself a follower of God
And I would die to prove Him real if I thought it would make a difference
By the way the Pride you are speaking of is people shoving it in your face that they are better then you.
I have never once said anything about me is better them someone else.
Besides the fact that I have God with me
Forever eternal life in Heaven I think that deseves a bit of a

For the most part, I am proud of my religion. It has in the past done things I cannot condone, and continues to do so. But for the most part, I'm content.
As for the second part of your question, when talking about "pride" as a sin, Christians are talking about the kind of pride that puts undue importance on one's self and/or accomplishments. It's the kind of pride that says "look at me, I'm so great, don't you wish you were me" or "see how good I am? I'm so much better than the rest of you." THAT kind of pride is a sin, and yes, I do see Christianity flirting with it all the time.

I am proud of my religion - hand crafted it myself. We teach our kids to be proud of themselves when they do things for themselves and do well. We are proud of our friends and family when they work hard and excel. Pride is not the sin - allowing yourself to be blinded by pride is the sin. When you are too proud to ask for help or too proud to change your plans, that is when pride is damaging and sinful.
Peace!

Its not really that kind of pride...its more like a happiness....And I dont think God would send anyone to hell for being proud of following him. Besides you're not proud of yourself. Being proud of your children isn't a sin....its only a sin when you think you are superior to others
the children part was supposed to be an example but it seems out of place......oh well

Nope. Pride is not an issue. Though, maybe for Christians it is since they also want to be recognized for any of the good works they do like they're winning points from their god for the act.

quite some folk are not area of an prepared faith. faith could extra healthful your ideals. do no longer try to make your ideals adjust to a faith. analyze each and all the religions you like. wisdom is rarely a bad element. yet till now you even evaluate starting to be to be a member of one or following one, be certain what you think and then be certain if the religion in question addresses your ideals. right this is a standard one for you. Are you a monotheist? while you're, Wicca isn't for you. it particularly is polytheistic. There are monotheistic pagan religions, yet Wicca isn't one in each of them. Wicca could be asking you to worship beings you do not have self belief in. Why could you pick to connect that?

It's not a sin in my religion. There's nothing wrong with being proud of your religion because it's open-minded.

I am not exactly proud of my religion. Neither do I condemn others because various religions all over the world have been the strongest origin of civilization. Things might have been totally crazy without them. It developed different beliefs and thus strengthened and developed societies.
