its simply the theory of what goes around comes around. if would do something good for someone, then something good will happen for you, but if you do some thing bad to someone than something bad will eventually happen to you. and believe me whether your religious or not this theory is very true. dont think of it as a mysterious secret force, its more like guarenteed coincidence

Karma basically is the fruit of your actions. You do good, you earn good karma, and vice versa for bad actions. The goal of Hindus is to either a) earn good karma in order to earn a better life next time around or b) exhaust all karma to stop the cycle of rebirths.

Karma is that cosmic force, when the cashier gives you back too much change at the store and you say noting, that causes your transmission to go out in your car on your way home costing you much much more that you stole from the store.
Actually karma is very complex, and universal, transcending this existence. Simply stated, as you sow so shall you reap.

Karma is the concept that if you do good things, good things will be done to or given to you. And if you do bad things, bad things will happen to you.
This also applies in re-incarnation. If you did good things in a previous life, you will be rewarded in a future life, if you did bad things in a previous life, you will be punished in a future life.

Basically it can be explained as "what goes around comes around". Its usually associated with luck because the logic is that if you were good in a past life then good things will happen to you, but if you were bad in a past life then bad things will happen to you.
