The Bible says that God doesn't want anyone to go to hell. He wants all people to go to heaven to be with Him. However, it also says that God is Holy, and He can't tolerate sin. Everyone has, at some point in their lives, sinned - be it a "white lie" or stealing a simple piece of gum from the store. One single sin is enough to send us to hell, because God is so Holy. I thank the Lord that we can be saved through His Son! He sent His Son Jesus to die, so that we wouldn't have to. (Spiritually speaking, not physically. We all die physically, but Jesus died and rose from the dead on the third day so we wouldn't have to go to hell.) If we believe in our hearts that Jesus is God's Son, and that He died for our sins and rose on the third day, we will be saved. We'll see Him in heaven someday! By Jesus' saving Blood, we are washed clean so in God's eyes, it's as if we never even sinned at all.
