No, not if you are alone together. If it is with a group, there is a little more acountability, and it is probably OK.

Why not, just because you're in a serious relationship, does that mean that you can never have any male friends. If it was with a female co-worker would anyone care? He's a man, and you're having lunch, so what is the big deal???

My old man wouldn't think so, but he is the jealous type. Whats wrong with having lunch with a co-worker, male or female? Just taking a time out from work, or maybe you shouldn't even be working any place where there are male employees. Go ahead, have lunch, its not like you are having a date. Your spouse should know where your heart lies.

Sure, you work with him, why can't you eat lunch with him? I work with males, I am female and I eat lunch with them. What is the big deal? Can't starve and it certainly stinks to eat alone. Who came first the chicken or the egg? Did you have guy friends/male co workers before your boyfriend? Did you eat lunch with them?
If your boyfriend had a problem with this he is insecure and had a problem with himself. He needs to be in check with himself.
If you yourself are doubting why you are having lunch with another man, are you attracted to him? Maybe you should as yourself about your relationship with your boyfriend?

As long as it doesn't go beyond lunch and you two do not cross any lines of being co-workers/friends than I don't see a problem with it.

I don' t know the extent of your relationship, but just to be on the safe side, go with a group of your guy co-workers.

It's not inappropriate, as long as it's just lunch and there aren't any underlying intentions or inappropriate flirtations.
Just because one is in a relationship doesn't mean they can or should only interact with people of the same sex.

Is it just the two of you at lunch?
Does your b/f know about these lunch "dates?"
Is there ANY feelings between you and your coworker?
Would you feel uncomfortable if your b/f was doing this?
If you answered yes to two or more of these questions, then it is probably inappropriate.

I wouldn't but that is just me, I am pretty old fashioned, so is my husband. I do not go to lunch with my male coworkers. Now I will if we are all going as a group, but not one on one.

No, as long as you and your significant other have trust in your relationship, and as long as you dont have any "secret" feelings for this co-worker.
Its okay to have friends of the opposite sex.

I dont see why not. It is just lunch as long as you have no feelings towards him and he towards you I dont see what the problem should be.
