I went to that question and found that most of those responses were anything but self-righteous, and many even wondered where you got the idea. Of course there were a couple of them in there who were a little obnoxious. But that was 2 or 3 out of how many? Not even 10%. Certainly no where near the "majority" that you make it out to be.
Now you may not have agreed with the answers, but since you did ask a question about God, whom do you suppose would likely respond?

I have no reason to believe that America is more deserving than any other country, but it would be pretty silly for people who believe in God, from any county, to not want His blessing. You don't need it though, huh? You've got a queen to bless you guys. I'm not even gonna ask how that's working out for ya.
As for Asia and Africa, do you blame us for the fact that they have famine, is that our fault? Is it our fault the muslim extremists are going thru villages, killing everyone in sight? Perhaps we ask for Him to bless us so horrible things like that don't happen here. Perhaps when we pray, we pray for those people, those children. Perhaps people who categorize all Americans or all of any nation are simply idiots.

No, that wasn't my answer. My answer was if a country prays to false idols and ancestral spirits how can God bless a country that doesn't acknowledge his existance? This is a nation under GOD and we proclaim it to the world.
