I believe in a Universal Energy that powers this existence, but I don't think it is a judgemental old man in the sky. To me, God is an energy and we are all pieces of it. If God is an ocean then we are each glasses of God.
Peace!

I don't know if there is a god but I believe there may be something bigger then us. I have a really hard time believing in those sort of things after everything I have been through. I was born with medical problems that I have to deal with the rest of my life. My 5 year old brother passed away recently without explaination. If there is a god I don't understand why things happen they way they do. There just seems to be to much horrible things in this world for me to believe in a god.

No. The concept sounds way too suspiciously made up. The human mind abhors a vaccuum and we're biologically hard-wired to find patterns, not to mention also have a survival drive, so we're inevitably going to dream up ego manifestations like deities and spirits to give us answers for the sake of having answers.
Plus, I get along fine without worrying about notions of "God" just as I go about my day without ever really thinking of "Zeus", "Pan" or "Isis". So for me it's not even so much a "lack of proof" but a "lack of need". And it doesn't worry me because as I've always said, if I were a deity, I'd have much more respect for those that can carry on without bugging me for help. And I sure would have better things to worry about than the opinions of some little bipeds on the third rock from the sun.

No I do not believe in gods. I understand enough physics to understand the way the world operates without needing to bring in magic causes.
I as a mathematician I understand local complexity is the result of selection mechanisms operating on variance.
Assuming complexity must come from a greater prior complexity just leads to infinite recursion. It cannot explain the origin of complexity.

No. There is no testable and verifiable evidence of any gods as thus far articulated. There is nothing but mere assertion of a multitude of gods, all contradictory and all are simply convictions without testable evidence. Mere say so they have received through many generations of repetition. It all comes down to faith and faith is unmerited belief about things that can not be proven. Someone can say a platypus is evidence of god, but it's just evidence of a platypus. People believe first and then point to everything in sight and everything that happens and call it evidence, but other people will say its evidence of their flavor of god and neither can prove their case. It's all just say so and it's all poppycock and selctive observation and wishful thinking and not having the sense to know the difference between "know" and "believe.".

No, I don't believe in a supernatural God. I believe that the God's people believe in were really scientists and astronauts from another planet, it was them that created life on earth scientifically in laboratories, this theory is more believable than a supernatural God and the fact that it is proven that life can not evolve makes this theory even the more plausible.

Yes I do believe in God. He is the center of my life and having him in my life is the best thing I have ever done. The Bible is God's word and if you read it then it will guide you. The most important thing I would like to ask is Where are you going to spend eternity? Everyone goes some where after death Heaven or Hell.I dont know if all of this is new to you but you can go on our church website if you would like and it has more answers. www.heritagebaptistchurch.cc Please check it out

No. I think all you people who say there is a God are idiots. There is no proof. you have nothing but a stupid book and a church which is just some crapped up conspiracy. You believe in a god because you want to and you need to because you can't face reality.

Yes. There is no way possible the world could have just came to be. The way the human body works, the earth works, the way everything just works together.
The chance of the bible being put together by so many different men (no one man could have written it in a lifetime) and NO ONE happened to let it slip that they were trying to "fool" all future men with this incredible story.
There is just to many burdens of proof. Besides the fact that the day I got saved it changed my life, and I KNOW God is in me :)

yes there is a God and if you don't beleive it you are taking a big chance
Let me ask you a few questions:
1. have you ever lied? even a white lie? just one?
this makes you a liar (I know, harsh words).
2. Have you ever stolen anything? even as a child? value does not matter.
this makes you a thief.
3. Have you ever commited adultery? even looked at a woman with lust?
this makes you an adulterer.
So according to the all holy God who created everything
you are a lying, thieving adulterer at heart. lets look at an example:
a mass murderer is caught and sentenced to death. Do you think the judge should be mercyful? No way. but you might say you havent murdered anyone. well Jesus said that anyone who hates anyone is giulty of murder (just for the record christians don't hate gays christians hate the sin of homosexuality).
so do you expect a holy God to allow an unrepentant theiving lying adultering murderer-at-heart into heaven? Happily, the Almighty Judge has provided a way to get into heaven; He came down to earth from all his glory and -- died an extremely painful death to pay your penalty for your sin. Imagine that; God loved you so much that he died for you.
You cannot work off the penalty of sin; you must repent (turn away from) from your sin and accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior today because you do not know when you may die -- you do not know what tommorow will bring.......
