use rubbing alcohol and a magic eraser and its as good as gone!

Unplug the irons and let them cool completly. Put rubbing alcohol onto a paper towel and gently soak the hairspary from the paper towel onto the irons. After the hairspary disolves in a few seconds wipe it off and it will be as good as new.

Use a paste made of Baking soda and water. It will dissolve the hairspray. You can also wash your hair with this mixture to get rid of old buildup and residue left from styling products.

I have also used a brillo pad on my curling iron.

by using vinegar with the appliance unplugged, cooled, and turned off.

Use a solution of 1/2 water and 1/2 vinegar. Soak a towel in the solution. scrub the appliance utnil it comes off.

It must be cleaned gently. Use rubbing alcohol mixed with a little bit of massage or skin oil on a cotton cloth in a circular motion. If you do this weekly u will not have a build-up!

Ewww I hate that. Try rubbing alcohol and then try not to get anymore on there. Yuck.

I think Bon Ami will do it. It is difficult to find sometimes. It is like barkeepers friend, but works better and is non toxic.

soak in a solvent such as rubbing alcohol or somthing commercial, but be careful and do not plug them in. Also maybe nail polish remover will do it...
