Well there are alot of ideas about Evolution in the Christian community. Since there is a gap, between Genesis 1 and 2..some Christians believe the earth was created, then destroyed, and re created. This would account for the weird fossil records that do not agree with the biblical account we have. (called the gap theory).
Remember theory is theory and no one really knows beyond a shadow of a doubt, no matter what the Anthropologist might say. Some of their theory is built on their own faith. We have a foundation for creation research, headed by scientists who could elaborate on other viewpoints for you, if you are interested .
You many think the Christians have nothing to base their faith on but that is not true. We have historical, archaeological, anthropological (recent discovery of a common woman ancestor) basis for our beliefs..plus personal experience.
For those of us Christians who love Science, we believe as discoveries "evolve" they will eventually confirm everything in the bible.

Well if God can grab people by the head and fly them around to different places (Ezekiel 8:1-3) or even float them up into heaven (Mary, Jesus, and others). Then it is sure that he is in control.
Certainly these passages prove Gravity to be just a silly theory invented by man.
God keeps us held onto the surface of the Earth. Can you not feel the hand of God upon you?
Repent of your scientific blasphemies lest he release you from his hold and allow you to float into the Firey Pit of the Sun.
For is not the Sun Lucifer, the Bright and Burning Consumer of Souls!

I certainly hope NOT. We were told in the early part of the BIBLE that our Earth was round and held in space. All anyone had to do was read it. Have a great weekend.
PS.. The theory of gravity is certainly proven in my book but I am sure that GOD had a lot to do with it.
Thanks,
Eds, Christian too.

I've never heard a Christian say that they didn't believe in gravity. The Bible speaks of the circle of the earth so flat earth didn't come from the Bible. Four corners is in the Bible as North, South, East and West.

And, so, what the anti-gravity people think hurts you in just what way? Same with the flat earth people? Are they going to make you walk off the edge?

I am a Christian, and that is totally news to me. Even in the most fundamental church I went to we didn't hear anything like that. This has got to be some sort of twist, or joke, or I don't know. This is one of those things which would have to be followed all the way back to the original source.

Yes, sadly its true. These people, like fundamentalists who must deny evolution because it contradicts scripture, feel that scripture clearly states a flat earth. Therefore, it must be true that the earth is flat and nothing will dissuade them from this belief.

You'd be surprised what some people believe. Take "spare the rod and spoil the child". The rod refers to a shepherd's rod which was used to gently guide sheep, not to beat them into submission. It's sickening.
