My bf and I are supposed to be working things out. I gets moody and decides at times that he doesn't want to talk or be bothered. I don't like being put off in the middle od a discussion that he considers an argument. He says all he wants me to do is let him get off the phone and call me in a couple of days when he feels like talking. I feel like if you're supposed to be working on a relationship - it's a 2 way st. and it's rude to hang up the phone and put me off for 2 or 3 days. By that time, I'm so mad I just don't want to be bothered. He thinks I'm being selfish and I think he is. Where is the comprimise. I just want to talk and he thinks it's arguing.

I don't really feel if this relation could last longer unless both of you talk to each other personally. He might be facing some difficulties at his work & just chilling himself by shouting at you, which he should not, yet he "does not have any other alternative". So, just listen to him next time & answer calmly.

If you expect him to do all the relationship analysis at your preferred speed, you will continue to be sadly disappointed. Men find this kind of thing a lot more unpleasant than women do. You're very lucky he's willing to catch up with you on it within days, rather than weeks, months, or years.
