my hair is naturally dark i'm trying to dye a small piece of my bangs purple. i've done it once and it's a brassy orange color and i would like to do it one more time but the instructions say to wait 24 hours. (its a vol 20 peroxide.) should i just go for it since its just a small section? or should i wait.. i dont want to kill my hair

I would try just one more time , since it is a small section. Then wait for a while until you touch it , you want to give your hair time to breath.

Bleach is very bad for your hair. When you have really dark hair naturally, and you want to do those un-natural, bright colors that require bleaching first, it's really worth the money to have a pro do it. I am always changing hair color on my own, but just color, no bleach. The one time I did a purple streak, that whole small section of hair ended up really damaged. I'm lucky to have hair that grows really fast, but I would never do a color like that again without a pro.

Follow the instructions. Wait. Make sure u used a colour stripper / bleacher and not just a dye. Next time keep the solution in longer (10 min) OR use a stronger solution. If you are mixing it put more of the powder in for a stronger solution.

Your hair should only be bleached once in every 8 weeks, it should not bleach too often because bleaching damages to hair follicle so be careful

dont make it twice a day!!!!! wait at least 24 hours. bleaching is already damaging. second bleaching is even more damaging even its a small section doesnt matter.
be patient :)

EEK - isn't this something that should only be done for Halloween??? If your this unexperienced you shouldn't be doing this yourself. Call a local salon and ask their opinion. You shouldn't bleach hair ever really....but if you have to - just follow the directions. Wear a hat or something.

0 bleaching will kill your hair no matter what. just leave your hair the way it is. god made it that color for a reason

Are you crazy? you must be blonder than you look cuz your hair is going to fall out if you bleach your hair more than once a week, jeez why dont you act blonde instead of trying to look blonde cuz you seem better at acting like one!
