I have a female friend who has had some major automobile expenses in the past month and she’s not going to be able to pay her rent this month (I think its like $600 a month). A male acquaintance of hers has offered to help her but with a catch: he wants her to have sex with him. He has basically told her that he would pay her $1,000 in cash (he apparently does have the cash, as he showed her) in return for 1 hour. Though she desperately needs the money, she says she’s not going to do it, though I’ve wondered about this, as I’ve seen her talk to him since he made the offer. Now, she is single (so she wouldn’t have a boyfriend/husband to be cheating on), so I guess she would have the right to do it (though I guess it is technically illegal).

This situation led me to a question: if, as a lady, you were hard up for money and were offered that type of cash, would you even consider taking up the offer? I know people generally say that they are worth more than that and that they won’t sell themselves but this has made me wonder just a bit.

No--that is what HOOKERS are for, and I am NOT a hooker.

I'll skip the money, I'd much rather keep my self respect---no matter if it was $1 or $1 million!!

Alright, here is the deal....

I'd be willing to bet she would and alot of other girls would too...probably more than we think!!! A couple factors have to be in play... 1. is the guy attractive at all? 2. what are the terms? ((whips and chains))

The truth is women sleep around just like men do...if not more than men...and a thousand dollars is a lot of money...I've be dating this girl for about 3 months and have had sex everyday and still have not spent a dime on her...some girls also if you are aggressive enough will sleep with anybody...

The time of a woman's purity is long gone... girls are loosing their virginity at 12 and 13 now days...and sleeping around during high school...

If she doesn't do it she's a fool...I think an hour is a little long though...they charge more than that in Vegas and they are professionals ...you're friend should charge $1000 for 30 minutes...

my two cents

Well I would like to think that I wouldn't consider it...but If I were in a jam then who knows...It would all depend on the situation and how desparate I really was. I hope that it never comes down to that, but you never what you'd do untill you're faced with the problem.

I'm sure you knew the answer even before you asked it ! It is pretty obvious what a respectable lady would answer to that one and even more obvious what a less respectable lady would do in a situation like that , don't you think ?!

NO! This is much like selling myself for crack, crack is wack.
I have too much pride and self morales to do anything as needy as this. I would go to my parents for help or seek financial assistance from the government but nothing as demoralizing as this.

No I would not. I love me, and I will not make an offer to sell my soul. There are plenty of opportunities to find legit work.

me personally? NO, a woman (no lady) who accepts money for sex is a prostitute, and definitely no lady.
