I use an airbrush machine to "spray tan" my clients, aside from the patch test I recommend they use a scrub of some sort the night before and drink lots of water because if they have dry skin the product will not adhere evenly. The pros outweigh the cons b/c I can contour the body, ie: make clevage look bigger stomach more stremlined.

I hate those box spray tan things. I get quite claustrophobic. Also the spray is quite cold and I get a bit of a shock and start hyperventilating because the spray goes in your mouth and you can't help breathing it.

Just they do the wrong colour. My friend had this done, and a few hours later she was so dark it was awful. And she tried to wash it off - no way was that going to budge. They had to go to a wedding the next day, hence the 'golden tan' but she wouldn't have her photo done as she looked too dark!!!

The client may be allergic to the lotion and develop a rash. Lotion may get in their eyes if not protected. Open cuts may become infected. Sorry that's all I can think of, I hope it's of some use to you. Good luck!
