abuse.......?

My bff has a strrict life..my other bf say she thinks her dad sexually active with her, well she seems fine but she said she has one family secret, and no i can't realy tell anyone...my friend told the polce that her friend was absued and she was sent away to find out that years later she dies by slipping on a patch of ice..( they lived in Alska...and she felt it was her fault..and god for bid any thing happen to her i'd never forgive my self...what do i do?

Hon, your friend needs help. That girl's death was not her fault, and if someone is abusing her, she is in desparate need of an adult in her corner!
It sounds like she is suffering from depression and many other things that can be fixed. Depression can be very dangerous, especially if she does not feel she can turn to her parents.
Get her help, before she "slips on some ice" herself.

Hey peppermint-don't trip on JoJo cuz she spelled 3 words wrong herself! Grammatically, challenged and writing were misspelled which I find amusing since she focused on your grammar so much. She's just trying to be more important than she really is. All you can do in this situation is talk to your friend; be there for her. She will "tell" when she feels she is ready. Until then just be there for her and don't hint around that you think something more serious happened. That is her business and like I said she'll come around when she's ready. Definitely watch for signs of depression, etc., though. That's a different story and may require more intervention. You seem like a caring friend already so keep bein yourself-that's what she liked about you in the first place right? Good luck to u and your friend(s). Ignore the nay-sayers

I am finding it a lil hard to understand your note here, but if I am gettin it right, there seems to be speculations on sexual abuse. If You don't rightly know this is the issue, then easy with what you say. Anything said wrong Re: Abuse and it is Hell for everyone involvled

Abuse is Never accepted! If you know this is a fact, then by all means, say sumthin to protect your friend, and also get them to do sumthin about it. The "Abused" should NEVER have to live with that crap!!

Yes, they have to get out of it, But Please make sure the facts are TRUE.

Get with your friend and let her do ALL the talking. Bring up a variety of subjects. Try to lead her, very subtle, into talking about her relationship with family. But don't push. As I said let her do all the talking. Also watch the reactions on her face. Does she get sad when talking about her family and so on. You could be a great help.

it is tough to deal with this type of thing
but you dont need to be down on yourself
because a friend slipped on ice and died

Look up childrens protective services in your town, you can make an annomoyns call and give them her name and address they may can check it out. Also you can talk to your school counselor and see what she suggests, that would be my first try. Good luck
