I don't think it's illegal.But it would be better to get your own credit on the up and up.

It can be done but it borders on the illegal. You have to be very careful in your financial management when doing it. If the Feds have ANY reason to believe that you are using this for fraudulant purposes, they will arrest you and find you guilty and then investigate later. This is not something to mess around with in post 9/11 America. They look into everything now with the intention of thwarting terrorism.

Yes it is true. The kicker is that they issue you another employee identification number to use in place of your S.S.N.. Since by law only your employer and our Government can ask you for your social security number.

Now doe's it work? Who knows. By their own admission you can only do this once in your lifetime. I would be very leery of their claim to add positive things to your new file. You have to be very careful or you will end up with two screwed up credit files.
