The best one I have found is AVG Free.
You can download it from www.download.com. In the search box type: avg free
It will give you a link for the newest free version to download.

Yes AVG is one good free anti virus but I'll list a few sites in source and decide which one you like.Avast is very good too.

I do believe your using Windows...
My subscription ended with Norton, so now I use Windows Live OneCare. Very compatible with Windows. 8)
