My girlfriend just called me. She went into her sons room to put away clothing and was looking for her sons socks. She turned to her 5 yr old son Bryan and asked where he put them. He told her the sock monster got them.
I laughed and told her that was ok the Spoon Fairy must of got all my spoons because I am missing so many.
Has any monsters or fairys been to your house?

We have visits from the spoon fairy, the sock monster, the typo demon, the cookie monster, the thing that goes bump in the night,"Nobody" (read Family circus), and the key bandit (we're pretty sure he's only got one arm...)

The sock monster visits here frequently. He doesn't only take the baby's socks, but my socks also!
I've also been visited by the Binky monster!
The newest monster I have discovered is the baby hat monster. Those hats just disappear!!

lol, my son invented the "sleep police" when he was about 3. Every night at bedtime, I would read his story, then as all got quiet in the house, he could always hear sirens outside (we lived in a big city), and he said, uh oh, I better get to sleep cuz the sleep police are out there! Was soooo cute I couldn't bear to explain to him that it wasn't really true. He is eleven now, and I have a 3 year old daughter... he reads her her bedtime story then tells her the sleep police are coming, only problem is, we are in the country now and rarely hear a siren.. lol.
