When I was in my growing up years, I had always been taught by my parents and my church that God was a spirit form, an entity. One whom is transparent, the Spirit within ourselves. Now that I'm an adult I guess I still have that same conception but in a different point of reality. I still believe that God is a "spirit or energy" type of entity but I look around in the beauty of our forests, land, our children, our skies and I see "Love". That is what God is all about is His Love and what He has created both inside of each one of us and the beauty that surrounds us. The animals that He created, earth,moon and the stars and planets. When my son was around 9 yrs old, he came to me and said "Mommy?" "I saw God". I looked at him with amazement and asked him where he had seen God. My son then said "In my dream I had last night." I then asked my son "And what did God say to you?" and my son replied "Everything will be ok". I then looked at my son with tears running down my cheeks and I asked him."What did God look like?" and my son replied,"He looked like a rainbow mommy". "He was all different colors". I then looked at my son and held him tight and told him "I believe you did see God". And we both sat together and smiled. This is how I see God, through the eyes of a child.

God does not have shape; He is Spirit, but he can appear in any shape he chooses.

Its hard to imagine the shape of a thought...
As that is what I believe "god" is, nothing more than a security blanket on a cold night. There is no more elegant proof of the human imagination than god.
