One of the moms in our playgroup has a 2 year old daughter that is absolutely stunning. She has a very outgoing and fun personality to boot. We always tell her to try to get her daughter into modeling. She has no idea how to start. She is apposed to the pageant circuit, so please don't suggest that route (plus it would not fit her daughter's personality). Any ideas?

I took my children to open calls. You can do a search for them in your area online. They are usually held at convention centers with reps from modeling agencies from various cities.

call a local agent that specializes in children. You can look them up online. You will probably have to go to the nearest large city, if you don't live in one right now. Just search for children modeling agencies.
Now I need to preach, I was a teen model and it destroyed my self-esteem and the way I view women and my life. I will never be the same. If she is beautiful and outgoing, sign her up for dance classes, ballet, things that build her self-confidence. Not modeling, it truly is the worst thing that could be done to her.

look for the adds in the newspapers and online but the best suggestion would be to hire someone have a portfolio ready if she gets a call. and whenever these adds companies come in bigger cities radio is always broadcasting that stuff.
